What to do if you clicked a suspicious link
Clicking a bad link happens to everyone. Acting quickly greatly limits the damage. Follow these steps immediately.

Do this right away
- Do not enter any more information on the page. Close the browser tab.
- If you entered your password, change it immediately from a different, trusted device if possible.
- If a file downloaded or opened, disconnect the computer from Wi-Fi or unplug the network cable, but do not turn it off.
- Call us at (626) 412-8113 and tell us exactly what you clicked and what you entered.
- If you shared banking or card information, contact your bank as well.
What we will do
- Check your account for suspicious sign-ins and mailbox rules
- Reset passwords and sign you out of all sessions if needed
- Scan your device for malware
- Check whether the same email reached other people in your company
You will never be in trouble for reporting a mistake. Reporting quickly is the most helpful thing you can do.
