Your setup
- Use your company-provided or company-managed device for work
- Keep your device updated and restart it regularly
- Secure your home Wi-Fi with a strong password and change the router's default admin password
- Lock your screen when you step away: Windows + L on Windows, Control + Command + Q on Mac
Working with data
- Save files to OneDrive or SharePoint, not to personal cloud storage or USB drives
- Use the company VPN when required, especially on public Wi-Fi
- Do not let family members use your work device
- Be mindful of who can see or hear confidential calls
Video calls
- Use background blur
- Check what is visible before sharing your screen
- Close unrelated windows and notifications before presenting
