How website contacts flow into your email and SMS lists

Our email and SMS marketing services connect to your website, so new contacts are captured automatically. Here is how it works.

Where contacts come from

  • Contact and quote request forms
  • Newsletter and offer sign-up forms
  • Your website chat assistant
  • Contacts you add manually or import

How it works

  1. A visitor submits a form or shares their details in chat.
  2. Their name, email and phone number are captured with the consent they gave.
  3. The contact is added to the right list or segment, for example by service or location.
  4. They can receive your email campaigns, SMS campaigns or both, depending on what they agreed to.

Consent matters

For SMS marketing in particular, the sign-up form should include a clear consent statement, such as "I agree to receive text messages from [Business]. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out." XaaS Techs can add compliant consent wording to your forms.

Opt-outs are respected on every channel. Unsubscribing from email or replying STOP to a text removes the contact from that channel's campaigns.
