Send a bulk SMS campaign from a CSV file

Upload a CSV file of phone numbers to send a one-time bulk SMS campaign to a specific list.

Prepare your file

  • Save your list as a CSV file from Excel or Google Sheets
  • The first column must contain the phone numbers
  • Use 10-digit US or Canada numbers
  • Only include people who have agreed to receive texts from your business

Send the campaign

  1. Go to Bulk Campaign, then Bulk SMS (CSV Upload).
  2. Click Select CSV File and choose your file.
  3. Type your message in the SMS Campaign Body box.
  4. Double-check the message, then click Upload & Start Campaign.
  5. Messages are sent in batches in the background, with each step logged.

Bulk messages cannot be recalled once sent. Send a test to your own phone first, and check spelling, dates and prices carefully.

To text everyone in your contact directory instead of a file, use a scheduled database campaign.
